It was 7+ years of their lives and, as adults, they were probably really limited on other roles they could take on. By the end, the show wasn’t nearly as good as it started out. It’s something that they created that we all love, and I think they loved it too, but it’s like an ex-boyfriend: a great part of your life, but time to move on to other things.
